- • Join Copart, a global leader in the online vehicle auction industry, as a Title Express Processor and play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth transfer of vehicle ownership. In this remote position, you will be instrumental in assisting auto insurance companies by managing vehicle title procurement, processing essential title paperwork, and liaising with financial institutions and vehicle owners. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of providing an unmatched experience to our vast network of buyers and sellers worldwide.
- • As a Title Express Processor, you will be the first point of contact for many inquiries, managing a call queue to answer basic Title Express (TE) questions, provide claim updates, and efficiently direct callers to the appropriate party or team. This requires a clear and concise communication style and the ability to quickly assess and route inquiries.
- • A significant part of your role will involve the meticulous creation and dispatch of Total Loss Packets. You will be responsible for compiling all necessary documents in strict accordance with state-specific guidelines, ensuring compliance and accuracy in every packet sent.
- • You will initiate crucial communication with Lien Holder entities to secure essential information, including payoff details, Letters of Guarantee, and copies of vehicle titles. This requires a professional and persistent approach to gather the required documentation promptly.
- • Your responsibilities will also extend to initial outreach to vehicle owners and insured individuals. These calls are vital for informing them about the documentation process and the upcoming dispatch of necessary paperwork, setting clear expectations and fostering a positive customer experience.
- • Proactive follow-up is key in this role. You will conduct follow-up calls to both owners/insureds and Lien Holders to track the status of required documents, address any discrepancies, or obtain corrected paperwork, ensuring the title process remains on track.
- • You will be tasked with sending out revised packets to owners/insureds as needed, accommodating any changes or corrections required to finalize the title transfer process.
- • Performance in this role will be measured against internal cycle times and other auditable criteria, emphasizing the importance of efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures.
- • A critical aspect of the job involves reviewing incoming mail to ensure all submitted documents are compliant with state guidelines. This requires a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of title regulations.
- • Upon the final review of a file and confirmation of compliance, you will be responsible for launching the "Okay to Pay" process to the insurance company, signifying that all title-related requirements have been met for the owner/insured.
- • You will actively monitor and manage a shared inbox, ensuring that all tasks, directives, and contractual obligations are addressed and completed within company policy and established timelines.
- • This role demands a proactive and organized approach to managing a diverse workload, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- • You will contribute to a collaborative team environment, working independently on assigned tasks while also supporting colleagues and contributing to overall team success.
- • The ability to analyze and identify vehicle title documents, understanding their significance within company and state guidelines, is paramount. This involves a degree of critical thinking and attention to detail.
- • You will be expected to work closely with State DMVs and Lien Holder entities, navigating their specific requirements and processes to facilitate title transfers smoothly.
- • Problem-solving skills are essential, as you will encounter various challenges throughout the title processing workflow and will need to find effective solutions.
- • This position requires a commitment to excellent customer service, maintaining a positive and professional attitude in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- • Occasional overtime may be required to meet business needs, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to the role.
- • As part of a growing global company, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, leveraging technology and process innovation to achieve exceptional results.
