- • As a Title Verification Specialist at Oportun Inc., you will play a critical role in validating customer-provided documents to approve secured personal loans, directly supporting the company’s mission to deliver affordable credit to underserved communities.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing vehicle documentation for loan approval, verifying accuracy of customer-submitted information, reporting missing or problematic documents to management, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of lending regulations and company policies, ensuring all required documentation is collected for SPL applications, and collaborating with business partners to route applications correctly for follow-up.

- • In this role, you will develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills, deepen expertise in auto finance and title validation processes, enhance communication and conflict resolution abilities, and gain experience working in a regulated financial services environment with opportunities to contribute to profitable growth and brand value through high customer satisfaction.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1 to 2 years of Customer Service Experience
- • Multiple years of Auto Finance Experience
- • Knowledgeable of Microsoft 365
- • Ability to read rapidly from both paper and a computer terminal
- • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, standing, sitting, reaching, twisting, sealing envelopes, filing, and reading
- • Ability to lift and transport up to 30 lbs. and push carts
- • General knowledge of captive automobile finance sufficient to handle sophisticated problems related to the work
- • Good oral/written communication, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, and good problem-solving skills
- • Bi-lingual (Preferred)
