• Maintains procedures and techniques for quality control standards at a single plant level to ensure quality levels are maintained for a complete brand or segment.
• Employees are accountable for assisting with track inspections and job site management.
• Work closely with Operations personnel to ensure the service meets customer requirements and schedules.
• Assist in resolving customer service issues
• Inspect customer facilities for defects in need of repair and provide reports to Estimators for bidding purposes.
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential duties of this position.
• High school diploma required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in construction preferred.
• Project management, including experience analyzing project costs and information, setting project budgets, and estimating costs preferred.
• 2 years’ construction field experience preferred.
• Ability to build and develop positive working relationships with customers and vendors.
• Proficient with computer software to conduct daily business activities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Superior communication skills: Must be comfortable engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills.
• Strong teamwork, initiative, resilience, and tact required.
• Must be comfortable making decisions with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Strong working knowledge of one’s field or discipline in which they find themselves engaged on a daily basis. Becoming fully aware to Build Relationships between individuals and within one’s division.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• The employee works in various settings, typically on-site at customer locations out in the elements of the natural environment.
• The employee must be able to ambulate in and around active construction sites, in and around railroad tracks and uneven terrain.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to natural environmental hazards, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles.
• Individual must have the ability to travel as required.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing required.
