- • Maintains procedures and techniques for quality control standards at a single plant level to ensure quality levels are maintained for a complete brand or segment.
- • Employees are accountable for assisting with track inspections and job site management.
- • Work closely with Operations personnel to ensure the service meets customer requirements and schedules.
- • Assist in resolving customer service issues
- • Inspect customer facilities for defects in need of repair and provide reports to Estimators for bidding purposes.
- • Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- • Other duties as assigned.
- • The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential duties of this position.
- • High school diploma required.
- • 3-5 years’ experience in construction preferred.
- • Project management, including experience analyzing project costs and information, setting project budgets, and estimating costs preferred.
- • 2 years’ construction field experience preferred.
- • Ability to build and develop positive working relationships with customers and vendors.
- • Proficient with computer software to conduct daily business activities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- • Superior communication skills: Must be comfortable engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills.
- • Strong teamwork, initiative, resilience, and tact required.
- • Must be comfortable making decisions with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- • Strong working knowledge of one’s field or discipline in which they find themselves engaged on a daily basis. Becoming fully aware to Build Relationships between individuals and within one’s division.
- • Ability to read and interpret documents.
- • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- • The employee works in various settings, typically on-site at customer locations out in the elements of the natural environment.
- • The employee must be able to ambulate in and around active construction sites, in and around railroad tracks and uneven terrain.
- • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to natural environmental hazards, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles.
- • Individual must have the ability to travel as required.
- • Valid Driver’s License in good standing required.
