📋 Description

• The Transcript Evaluator at Berklee College of Music plays a critical role in advancing the institution’s mission to educate, train, and develop students to excel as musicians and creative industry leaders by ensuring accurate transfer credit evaluation and degree progression.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating official and unofficial transcripts for internal and external transfer students, researching institutions and coursework to determine accurate equivalencies, communicating transfer decisions, advising students on transferable coursework and prior learning credit, supporting degree completion and study abroad advising, assisting partner and former students in completing degree requirements online, identifying academic risks through transcript review, coordinating with the Registrar’s Office on registration and graduation clearance, processing Change of Program requests, maintaining accurate records in SIS/CRM systems, managing transfer communications, rebuilding historical academic records, producing reporting and analyzing trends to inform articulation agreements, and collaborating with academic leadership, Advising, Scheduling, and Institutional Advancement to create flexible, student-centered degree pathways.
• The role is part of Berklee’s Pre-College, Online, and Professional Programs (POPP) division, which serves more than 3.5 million students worldwide through innovative online courses, summer programs, and professional education, contributing to global impact by helping students navigate transfer pathways with clarity, efficiency, and care.
• The Transcript Evaluator can develop expertise in higher education administration, transfer credit policy, academic advising, and student success systems while contributing to equity and inclusion in access to world-class contemporary music education, with opportunities to build skills in data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration within a mission-driven, flexible, and supportive work environment.
