Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Trax eMRO and legacy Trax modules, acting as the single point of contact for Maintenance & Records, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Accounting teams at Allegiant’s Las Vegas headquarters. You will translate complex business pain-points into clear, testable requirements and shepherd each change from concept through production release.
- • Partner daily with aircraft technicians, inventory planners, buyers, and finance controllers to map current-state workflows and identify opportunities for automation, compliance, and cost savings. Your documentation will become the gold-standard reference for auditors, trainers, and new hires.
- • Configure, test, and promote changes across Dev → Test → Production environments while maintaining rigorous change-control logs. You will validate that every tweak—whether a new transcode, switch configuration, or user permission—meets FAA, OSHA, and SOX standards before it ever touches a live aircraft record.
- • Investigate and triage Tier-2 support tickets raised via Jira or internal channels, replicating issues, classifying root causes, and escalating to vendor or development teams when necessary. You’ll own the ticket until closure and publish concise after-action reports that prevent recurrence.
- • Build and execute comprehensive test scripts covering happy-path, edge-case, and regression scenarios. Coordinate user-acceptance testing with mechanics on the hangar floor and accountants in the back office, capturing evidence and sign-offs required for go-live.
- • Develop role-based training materials—quick-reference cards, e-learning modules, and lunch-and-learn slide decks—that turn complex MRO jargon into step-by-step guidance. Deliver virtual and in-person sessions to ensure adoption and reduce error rates.
- • Maintain a living backlog of enhancements, defects, and regulatory mandates; rank each item by safety risk, financial impact, and resource effort. Present weekly prioritization decks to directors and obtain funding or scope approval.
- • Serve as the “voice of the system” during cross-functional stand-ups, translating technical constraints into business language and vice-versa. Your ability to simplify complexity will drive faster decisions and stronger alignment.
- • Champion data integrity by designing audit queries, exception reports, and dashboard alerts that flag missing flight-hours, duplicate part numbers, or cost-center mismatches before they snowball into AOG events or budget variances.
- • Model Allegiant’s customer-first culture by responding to internal customers with empathy, urgency, and clarity—whether it’s a line mechanic at 2 a.m. or a CFO preparing for a board meeting. Your professionalism will reinforce our reputation for operational excellence.
- • Travel up to 15 % to maintenance bases in Orlando, Phoenix, and Cincinnati to observe processes firsthand, gather user feedback, and deliver on-site training. Your field insights will fuel continuous improvement and strengthen relationships with frontline teams.
