- • As an Outside Sales Representative focused on Treatment Plant sales, you will profitably grow sales to achieve yearly goals by serving as a trusted consultant for water, wastewater, and critical infrastructure projects across municipal, non-residential, and residential markets.
- • Day to day, you will manage project workloads for treatment plant and infrastructure initiatives, present material lists and bill-of-materials, coordinate multi-stage shipments with construction schedules, and ensure accuracy and timeliness throughout project lifecycles while applying technical expertise in water, wastewater, and civil/mechanical processes.
- • You will partner with internal quotation, estimating, and pre-bid teams to support plant-specific scopes, detailed material takeoffs, and design-build packages, ensuring customers receive accurate and timely proposals while identifying new opportunities across water, wastewater, and municipal ecosystems.
- • You will serve as the primary point of contact for plant-related accounts, maintaining deep consultative relationships with municipalities, engineers, and contractors, acting as a trusted resource for technical guidance, product sourcing, and project planning to drive long-term loyalty and expand market presence through industry events and trade shows.

- • What the person can learn or achieve in this role: Develop deep expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure sales, master complex project scoping from pre-bid to delivery, build a robust pipeline in treatment plant markets, and grow professionally through consultative sales engagement with engineers, municipalities, and contractors while contributing to critical infrastructure advancement.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of industry-related outside sales experience in waterworks, civil, mechanical, or distribution
- • Experience supporting large infrastructure or plant environments, specifically water/wastewater treatment and industrial civil projects
- • Strong technical aptitude with ability to read and interpret plans, specs, material lists, and engineered designs
- • Demonstrated ability to manage complex scopes and multi-phase projects
- • Engineering background (especially civil) is a plus
- • Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report required due to vehicle operation exceeding 20% of work week
