- • The Underwriting Team Lead at TIH Insurance Services, LLC is a pivotal role responsible for driving underwriting performance, ensuring compliance, and leading a team to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of service to agents and carriers.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include underwriting new and renewal business, approving policy changes and endorsements, supervising team members, monitoring production metrics and risk indicators, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring all underwriting activities comply with internal and external guidelines.
- • TIH Insurance Services, LLC operates as part of CRC Group, a national wholesale insurance brokerage focused on delivering specialized insurance solutions through a network of agents and carriers, with a commitment to innovation, compliance, and employee well-being.
- • In this role, the individual will develop leadership expertise in insurance underwriting, deepen knowledge of commercial multi-line risk assessment, enhance team management and communication skills, and gain experience in performance monitoring, regulatory compliance, and strategic client engagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or appropriate insurance designation
- • Five years of experience as an active underwriter or seven years in the insurance industry
- • Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance as necessary
- • Ability to understand and analyze insurance policy components and client risk profiles
- • Leadership and team-playing skills with ability to exercise discretion in decision-making
- • Proficiency with company automation tools including Windows, Delphi, Word, DocuCorp, and Rackley ISO Rating Software
