📋 Description
- • As a University Admissions Counselor for Grand Canyon University’s Traditional Ground Campus, you will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and families in the Albuquerque, NM territory, guiding them through the admissions process and helping them make informed decisions about their educational future.
- • Day to day, you will host and implement community events, conduct school visits and presentations, engage with community college stakeholders, manage a full schedule of fairs and campus visits, and provide personalized counseling via in-person meetings, phone, email, text, and Zoom to drive inquiry generation and student enrollment.
- • You will join Grand Canyon Education (GCE), a mission-driven educational service company that partners closely with Grand Canyon University to support thousands of students and families, with a strong commitment to innovation, community impact, and putting people first in all operations.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in student recruitment, relationship building, and admissions counseling while making a tangible impact on students’ lives by helping them access quality education and find their purpose through GCU’s campus experience in Phoenix, AZ.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required
- • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively within the Albuquerque, NM territory, including evening and weekend availability
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer literacy for remote work
- • Outstanding time management, organization, and prioritization skills to manage competing priorities while traveling
- • Clear communication and engaging presentation skills, with comfort communicating in person, in writing, and over the phone
- • High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy when coaching diverse students and families
