- • The User Acquisition Manager (Google Ads) will own and scale a new growth channel for Ruut, building the Google Ads function from near zero to become a major driver of user acquisition and revenue, with a clear path to leadership as Google Lead.
- • Day to day, the role involves launching and scaling Google Ads campaigns (UAC/App Campaigns, Search, YouTube, Demand Gen, PMax) for the mobile app, optimizing Web2App quiz funnels, owning P&L metrics (CAC, LTV, payback, contribution margin), leading creative strategy with data-driven testing, running funnel and landing page experiments, and establishing scalable processes for the channel.
- • Ruut is a fast-growing digital sports coach startup that began with running, has achieved 60x scale in under a year, and is expanding into new sports verticals with a mission to lower barriers to entry in sports through digital coaching; the team includes elite athletes and Olympians, operates with high autonomy and ownership, and aims to become the #1 brand for athletes in the US market.
- • The person will achieve deep expertise in performance marketing for mobile apps, build and lead a high-impact acquisition channel, develop leadership skills through ownership and team-building, and grow into a senior leadership role by delivering measurable scale and unit economics on Google Ads.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years in performance marketing / user acquisition
- • Minimum 1–2 years of Google Ads experience specifically on mobile applications (not just web/e-commerce)
- • Proven experience scaling Google Ads budgets without CAC degradation
- • Experience with Web2App funnel optimization (audiences, landing pages, quizzes, creatives)
- • Strong grasp of unit economics: CAC, LTV, payback, ROAS, contribution margin
- • Strong analytical skills with ability to work independently with data (SQL / Looker / Amplitude is a plus)
- • English proficiency at B2+ level
- • High autonomy and ownership mindset — comfortable operating with hypotheses and plans rather than waiting for direction
