- • The Value-Based Programs Lead at Humana Inc. leads market support for Value-Based Programs (VBP) across assigned Medicaid markets to ensure contract requirements and market objectives are met, driving performance and strategic alignment.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing end-to-end market support, facilitating Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings with market leaders, preparing data-driven insights, overseeing VBP model implementation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and advising on strategy and rollout timing.
- • The role operates within Humana’s Medicaid VBP team, collaborating with internal teams in design, contracting, operations, and analytics to ensure seamless execution of VBP models and continuous improvement.
- • The individual will develop expertise in value-based care, healthcare analytics, project management, and leadership while influencing strategic decisions that impact patient outcomes and organizational performance in Medicaid markets.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree
- • 3–5 years of experience working at a health plan in value-based care and/or provider engagement
- • 3+ years of highly data-driven analytics experience analyzing financial, quality, and utilization data to inform decision-making
- • 2+ years of project management experience
- • 2+ years of progressive leadership experience in hiring, training, and managing associates
- • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication and presentation skills
