- • As a Value Engineer at Vanta, you will play a pivotal role in demonstrating the return on investment (ROI) of Vanta’s Trust Management Platform to prospective and existing customers across the APJ region, directly influencing revenue growth and expanding contract sizes by articulating tangible business value to economic buyers.
- • You will design, implement, and optimize customized ROI models using Vanta’s SaaS platform Minoa, tailored to diverse market segments including startups, mid-market, and enterprise clients, ensuring these tools are widely adopted by sales teams to strengthen value articulation in customer engagements.
- • You will evolve Vanta’s value framework for both pre-sales and post-sales processes, developing industry-specific briefs and strategic messaging that align with customer needs and market trends, enabling account executives to communicate value more effectively.
- • You will measure and report on the impact of Value Engineering initiatives by analyzing case studies with quantifiable ROI metrics, mapping them to existing models, and providing data-driven insights to inform product, sales, and strategic decision-making.
- • You will coach and train startup and mid-market account executives on leveraging ROI assets in sales conversations, act as a go-to resource for sales teams on proper usage of value tools, and collaborate with product marketing, sales development, and analyst relations to ensure messaging consistency and continuous improvement.
- • You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Marketing to gather user benchmark data, publish thought leadership on customer trust trends, and partner with executive stakeholders to model the potential ROI of Vanta investments, driving both internal alignment and external customer success.
- • You will operate in a hybrid work environment based in Sydney, contributing to a mission-driven culture where security and trust are made continuous, transparent, and provable for thousands of global customers relying on Vanta to strengthen their security posture.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- • 5+ years of experience in value engineering, sales enablement, or a similar role, preferably within the SaaS industry
- • Strong analytical skills with expertise in ROI metrics, financial modeling, and data analysis
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences
- • Experience working with diverse customer segments including startups, mid-market, and enterprise clients
- • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and analytics software
- • Openness to leveraging AI responsibly to enhance productivity, with curiosity and sound judgment in applying emerging technologies
