You will act as a key liaison between our sales teams, healthcare professionals, and the company, playing a crucial role in expanding market share and enhancing patient care outcomes.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive support to one or more regional sales teams. This support encompasses a wide range of critical functions, including market development initiatives, in-depth procedural coverage, expert troubleshooting, customer education and training, proactive customer service, and diligent follow-up.
- • You will collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers to devise and execute strategic regional plans. These plans will be meticulously crafted to not only increase market share but also to elevate the quality of service delivered to our valued customers. Establishing robust communication channels with these teams will be essential to ensure the effective implementation of these plans and the consistent achievement of quarterly objectives.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve cultivating strong relationships with hospital personnel. This includes expanding our network of contacts across various departments, identifying key decision-makers, and strategically facilitating future sales opportunities. By understanding the unique needs and challenges within different hospital settings, you will position Penumbrainc as a trusted partner.
- • You will engage directly with both existing and potential customers. Through insightful discussions, you will identify their specific clinical needs, overarching goals, and any constraints they face in delivering optimal patient care. Your expertise will then be leveraged to demonstrate how Penumbrainc’s cutting-edge products can effectively help them achieve their objectives and improve patient outcomes.
- • A core component of your contribution will be educating customers on the merits and proper clinical application of our products. This will involve delivering compelling presentations and hands-on demonstrations, utilizing a variety of tools such as slides, flow models, brochures, and other relevant platforms and formats. Your ability to clearly articulate complex clinical information will be paramount.
- • You will be responsible for keeping customers informed about the latest advancements in our product portfolio, emerging therapies, and relevant technological developments. Staying abreast of current industry trends and sharing this knowledge will position you and Penumbrainc as thought leaders.
- • You will actively participate in and contribute to professional education activities sponsored by Penumbrainc. This includes supporting PEER meetings, hospital stroke symposia, and other key educational events, further solidifying our commitment to advancing medical knowledge.
- • A vital part of your role will be to assist in the training of new employees, including both Territory Managers and fellow Clinical Specialists. Sharing your expertise and best practices will be crucial for the continued growth and success of the sales and clinical support teams.
- • You will also play a role in the development of Continuing Education Programs, contributing to the ongoing professional development of healthcare providers in the field.
- • As the primary resource for clinical support, you will provide expert guidance in procedural case coverage, basic troubleshooting, and follow-up for all Penumbrainc products. Your timely and effective support will be critical to customer satisfaction and product adoption.
- • You will meticulously report and track all product incidents at customer sites, adhering strictly to company procedures and collaborating with appropriate personnel to swiftly resolve any issues.
- • Responding to customer needs and addressing complaints will require you to develop creative and effective solutions, working in close collaboration with senior management, sales, and marketing teams.
- • You will actively prospect and develop relationships with prospective customers and users of Penumbrainc products, with the goal of converting them into loyal Penumbrainc customers.
- • You will contribute to securing and renewing existing orders by coordinating product availability, delivery schedules, and inventory levels, ensuring a seamless supply chain for our clients.
- • Maintaining open and consistent communication lines with current and prospective customers regarding programs, promotions, and pricing trends will be essential for fostering strong business relationships.
- • You will build and nurture relationships with physicians, lab staff, lab supervisors, and purchasing personnel, understanding their roles and influencing their decisions.
- • Adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and all domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures is non-negotiable. You will be a champion for quality in all your interactions.
- • A thorough understanding of relevant security, privacy, and compliance principles is required, and you must strictly adhere to all applicable regulations, standards, and procedures.
- • You will ensure that other members of your department also uphold the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures, promoting a culture of compliance.
- • Performing other work-related duties as assigned will be part of your dynamic role, demonstrating your flexibility and commitment to the team's success.
- • This role requires significant business travel, estimated at over 50% of your time, to support regional sales efforts and customer engagements. Occasional on-call availability, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, may be required to address urgent customer needs.
