- • The Senior Vendor Management Professional serves as a key liaison between vendors and Humana, ensuring effective communication and alignment on contractual and operational matters.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and negotiating vendor contract terms, resolving invoice and contractual discrepancies, monitoring vendor performance, and developing positive vendor relationships.
- • The role involves influencing department strategy, making independent decisions on moderately complex to complex technical approaches, and performing work with considerable latitude in goal-setting and approach.
- • This position supports Humana’s mission to improve consumer experiences by ensuring vendor partnerships deliver high-quality, reliable services that contribute to better health outcomes for members.
- • The role is based within Humana’s operations, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare service delivery through disciplined vendor oversight.
- • The individual will gain experience in strategic vendor management, contract negotiation, performance analytics, and cross-functional collaboration in a large healthcare organization.
- • Opportunities exist to develop leadership and facilitation skills while contributing to process improvements and operational excellence.

- • Facilitation skills
- • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- • Prior experience in a healthcare or insurance setting (preferred)
- • Knowledge of Medicare Advantage (preferred)
