- • We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Venture M&A Manager to significantly accelerate Almedia's expansion. This pivotal role demands end-to-end ownership of our deal strategy, encompassing everything from initial thesis development and proactive sourcing to meticulous financial analysis and decisive execution. This is a true "0-to-1" operator position, where you will be instrumental in shaping our growth trajectory through strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
- • As the company's primary lead for critical build-versus-buy decisions, you will go beyond mere analysis. You will be responsible for constructing sophisticated financial models, designing robust deal processes, and crafting compelling, investor-ready materials. Your work will empower our leadership team and investors to make swift, confident decisions, ensuring Almedia maintains its rapid growth momentum.
- • *Key Responsibilities and Impact:**
- • **End-to-End Deal Ownership:** You will independently manage the entire M&A lifecycle. This includes proactively sourcing potential targets, rigorously qualifying opportunities, initiating and conducting outreach, leading negotiations, preparing comprehensive Investment Committee (IC) materials, and managing the seamless handover for integration. Your ability to navigate each stage with precision and foresight will be critical.
- • **Strategic Pipeline Development:** You will be tasked with building and maintaining a dynamic, thesis-driven target universe. This involves leveraging a CRM-tracked pipeline with clear scoring and segmentation criteria, enabling rapid prioritization of the most promising opportunities and ensuring our M&A efforts are strategically aligned with Almedia's overarching goals.
- • **Driving Execution Excellence:** You will lead prioritized M&A opportunities from initial engagement through to signed Letters of Intent (LOIs) or fully executed transactions. This requires developing clear valuation rationales, structuring deals effectively, and outlining actionable integration plans that set the stage for successful post-acquisition value creation.
- • **Architecting Essential Toolkits:** You will design, develop, and deploy standardized due diligence and valuation toolkits. These essential resources will include integrated financial models and relevant KPI benchmarks, designed to deliver crisp, data-driven go/no-go recommendations that facilitate informed decision-making at the highest levels.
- • **Compelling Strategic Communication:** You will be responsible for producing high-quality, investor-ready equity stories and competitive benchmark analyses. These materials will be crucial for supporting future fundraising efforts and for clearly articulating Almedia's strategic positioning and product roadmap to internal and external stakeholders.
- • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** You will work closely with leadership, finance, product, and legal teams to ensure alignment on M&A strategy, facilitate due diligence, and support the successful integration of acquired entities. Your ability to foster strong working relationships and communicate complex information effectively will be paramount.
- • **Market Analysis and Thesis Refinement:** Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, identify emerging trends, and refine Almedia's M&A thesis based on market dynamics and strategic objectives. This proactive approach ensures our growth strategy remains relevant and impactful.
