  • As a Field Sales Representative for Heat Pumps in the Rhine-Neckar/Karlsruhe region, you will drive the energy transition by selling sustainable heating solutions directly to homeowners, contributing to Octopus Energy’s mission of achieving 100% sustainable energy globally.
  • Your day-to-day involves conducting in-person consultations with pre-qualified leads, presenting customized heat pump solutions, guiding customers through the purchasing process, and closing deals — all without cold calling or door-to-door canvassing.
  • Octopus Energy is a global EnerTech innovator expanding rapidly in Germany, combining renewable electricity tariffs with end-to-end heat pump installations, smart metering, and self-generated wind and solar power to revolutionize residential energy use.
  • In this role, you will develop expert-level consultative sales skills in renewable energy, build a track record of high-performance closing, and unlock clear pathways for rapid career advancement within one of the world’s fastest-growing clean energy companies.

🎯 Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2C field sales, preferably in renewable energy, home improvement, or high-value consulting solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and advise homeowners on technical products.
  • Valid driver’s license (Class B) and willingness to use a company car for customer visits across the Rhine-Neckar/Karlsruhe region.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Fluency in German; English proficiency is a plus for collaboration with the global Octopus Energy team.
