📋 Description

  • The VHA Documentation Specialist will play a critical role in supporting organizational transformation by documenting and standardizing processes during a re-organization, ensuring clarity, adoption, and minimal resistance to change.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business processes, technology, and organizational structure; developing standard operating procedures for a finance organization; creating a new leader/employee handbook; and mapping process flows for approvals and communications to support stakeholder readiness and project goals.

  • In this role, the specialist will gain hands-on experience in process improvement, change management, and organizational design within a government contracting environment, while building expertise in documentation best practices and stakeholder engagement strategies that are transferable across industries.

🎯 Requirements

  • Experience documenting processes for organizations undergoing re-organization
  • Knowledge of analyzing business processes, technology, and organizational structure
  • Ability to develop standard operating procedures for finance organizations
  • Experience creating leader/employee handbooks and process mappings for approval and communication flows
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation tasks
