- • The Vice President of Clinical Development, Evidence, and Strategy at iRhythm Technologies will lead the company’s global clinical strategy, evidence generation, and product differentiation across hardware, software, AI, and services, directly impacting regulatory approvals, market access, and patient outcomes in cardiac health.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include defining clinical use cases, designing and overseeing pivotal FDA studies, integrating real-world evidence into regulatory and payer strategies, leading multidisciplinary teams in clinical development and data science, and serving as the company’s external clinical voice with regulators, payers, and academic partners.
- • iRhythm is a mission-driven digital health company transforming cardiac care through wearable biosensors, AI-powered analytics, and cloud-based data platforms, committed to putting patients first and improving lives through innovation and scientific rigor.
- • In this role, the leader will shape the clinical roadmap of iRhythm’s product portfolio, drive evidence-based market access and guideline inclusion, foster scientific excellence and collaboration across functions, and build a world-class clinical and scientific team while advancing their expertise in AI medical devices and real-world evidence generation.
🎯 Requirements
- • M.D. or equivalent advanced degree in medicine
- • 12+ years of leadership experience in clinical research and scientific functions within medical device, diagnostics, pharma/biotech, or related industries
- • Proven track record of leading pivotal FDA studies (IDE, PMA, or NDA/BLA submissions) from design through approval
- • Demonstrated expertise in clinical trial design, real-world evidence generation, and translating clinical evidence into regulatory approvals, payer coverage, and commercial adoption
- • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams (science, data, clinical research) and scaling organizations during growth
- • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills with ability to influence at executive and board levels
