📋 Description

  • • The Vice President of Clinical Operations at Catalight Care Services is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and organizational growth across a national behavioral health network serving over 10,000 families annually. This position is pivotal in advancing Catalight’s mission to create a more equitable world for people with developmental disabilities by ensuring high-quality, accessible, and inclusive clinical services are delivered with integrity and innovation.
  • • The VP will partner with senior leadership to shape long-term vision, translate strategy into actionable operational plans, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, team performance, and client outcomes while upholding the organization’s reputation for excellence and compliance.
  • • Day to day, the VP will develop, implement, and maintain enhancements to all clinical services, programs, policies, procedures, and quality assurance activities; build and nurture high-trust relationships with stakeholders through inclusive, timely, and accessible communication; foster a culture of high performance, learning, and continuous improvement by championing quality and accountability across clinical teams.
  • • Apply deep clinical and operational expertise to analyze complex performance dynamics, identify root causes of performance gaps, and design and drive implementation of evidence-based solutions that align with organizational goals, funding requirements, and state regulations.
  • • Collaborate with department leads across CCS to ensure alignment of mission, strategic priorities, industry best practices, and compliance with funding sources and state regulations; take initiative to identify operational issues, analyze context, formulate solutions, and deliver actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • • Create and oversee performance metrics for Clinical Operations teams; work collaboratively to analyze data, report on key indicators, and justify process changes that improve efficiency and care pathways; facilitate clear communication to resolve clinical and operational issues swiftly and effectively.
  • • Ensure clinical, operational, and administrative standards meet or exceed accreditation specifications; drive operational excellence through optimal tools, processes, and resources; deliver on clinical, quality, operational, and financial goals while maintaining alignment with leadership.
  • • Partner with the SVP of CCS Operations to develop and implement operational infrastructure, processes, and staffing plans to support rapid growth; drive initiatives that simplify experiences for employees, providers, and clients by instituting best practices and enhancing tools and capabilities.
  • • Create and execute departmental budgets and resource plans aligned with operational objectives while preserving service quality; cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by staying current with industry trends, research, and innovative practices to elevate operating capabilities.
  • • Build and manage diverse, equitable, and inclusive teams; foster empowered, wellbeing-driven work environments; model bold, accountable leadership and high performance; ensure talent pipeline and succession planning; steward shared services and integration to enhance operational efficiency.

  • • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement clinical policies, quality assurance programs, and operational improvements aligned with regulatory standards and funding requirements.
  • • Experience building high-trust relationships with diverse stakeholders, including clinicians, families, and community partners, through inclusive and effective communication.
  • • Strong analytical skills to identify performance gaps, analyze root causes, and formulate data-driven solutions for complex operational challenges.
  • • Experience managing budgets, resources, and operational infrastructure to support scalability and service quality in growing organizations.
