📋 Description

• The Vice President, Construction at Vantage Data Centers oversees and manages all construction functions across active markets, ensuring successful execution of construction projects from pre-construction to commissioning and closeout. This role is critical to delivering reliable, efficient, and sustainable data center infrastructure that supports hyperscalers, cloud providers, and large enterprises globally.
• Day to day, the role involves leading a team of construction directors, managing capital expenditure budgets, driving cost optimization, ensuring compliance with financial controls, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and providing professional cost analysis and estimating capabilities to support new site development.
• Vantage Data Centers powers, cools, protects, and connects the technology of the world’s leading hyperscalers, cloud providers, and large enterprises. The company operates across North America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific, innovating data center design for reliability, efficiency, and scalability in flexible environments that meet market demands.
• In this role, the individual can learn and achieve strategic leadership in large-scale construction management, deepen expertise in data center-specific construction (CSA and MEP), drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, influence business-level decisions via cost analysis, and build high-performing teams aligned with Vantage’s culture of No Ego and No Arrogance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10-15 years of experience in a management role required, 15 to 20 years preferred
• Data Center experience is required
• Experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) construction management is a requirement
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion
• Strong understanding of construction cost analysis, estimating, and budget management
