📋 Description

• The Vice President, DRG leads and supervises Revenue Recovery products under the Denials umbrella, including Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG & DRGV), Medical Necessity Denials, and Emergency (ED) Downgrades, to drive quantifiable results and set priorities for direct reports.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include leading dedicated product and service teams across Revenue Integrity to deliver best-in-class client outcomes while ensuring clinical coding integrity and regulatory compliance.
• The role involves reporting regularly to senior management on obstacles, challenges, and opportunities affecting revenue projections, and developing leadership within the department to drive operational performance and continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, denial management, or clinical coding integrity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational performance in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Strong communication skills with experience reporting to senior management on revenue projections, challenges, and opportunities.
• Expertise in Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG), Medical Necessity Denials, or Emergency Department (ED) Downgrades.
• Track record of improving client satisfaction, reducing denials, and increasing revenue yield in healthcare settings.
