  • • BetterUp is on a mission to transform lives and is redefining the employer-employee relationship through a deeply human-centric approach. We believe in fostering a work environment that is not only productive but also profoundly fulfilling, offering more than just a paycheck. From the initial interview, you'll experience our unique candidate journey, and upon joining, you'll gain access to a personal BetterUp Coach, a tailored development plan, a supportive and coached manager, and an exceptional team, all of whom benefit from their own coaching. This creates a remarkably focused and rewarding work experience, ideal for individuals with a strong drive and passion for making a difference.
  • • As the Vice President, Key Accounts EMEA, you will play a critical role in orchestrating and driving the entire sales ecosystem for our most strategic accounts across the EMEA region. This is a high-impact individual contributor role that goes beyond traditional sales targets, encompassing a holistic strategy that integrates new business acquisition, sophisticated account management, and proactive customer success initiatives.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead new sales generation by developing and executing effective sales strategies tailored for executive-level engagement. You will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on emerging growth opportunities within the market, ensuring BetterUp remains at the forefront of industry trends and innovations. This involves deep market analysis, understanding competitive landscapes, and proactively positioning BetterUp's unique value proposition to C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves overseeing and optimizing account management processes to foster deep client loyalty, maximize customer satisfaction, and ensure long-term retention. You will collaborate closely with account management teams to identify and cultivate upsell and cross-sell opportunities, thereby expanding BetterUp's footprint within existing strategic accounts. This requires a nuanced understanding of client needs and the ability to articulate how BetterUp's evolving solutions can address their evolving business challenges.
  • • Championing customer success will be paramount. You will drive initiatives that ensure clients consistently derive maximum value from BetterUp's services, building and nurturing robust, long-lasting client relationships. This includes establishing and refining feedback loops to channel customer insights directly into product development and service enhancements, ensuring our offerings remain best-in-class and highly relevant.
  • • You will personally engage in high-stakes executive selling, building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders at our most important clients and prospects. This involves understanding their strategic objectives, challenges, and opportunities, and demonstrating how BetterUp can be a catalyst for their human transformation goals.
  • • Effective cross-functional partnership is essential for success. You will collaborate seamlessly with marketing, product, operations, and other internal departments to align strategies, share market intelligence, and optimize overall business outcomes. This collaborative approach ensures a unified go-to-market strategy and a cohesive client experience.
  • • BetterUp is an AI-forward company, and this role thrives at the intersection of human expertise and AI capability. You will be expected to adapt to and continuously learn within this evolving technological landscape. We seek individuals excited to experiment boldly with AI, share their discoveries openly, and help define best practices for AI-augmented work. You will thoughtfully integrate AI into your workflow to deliver exceptional results, leveraging human judgment and creativity to drive innovation. During the interview process, you will have opportunities to demonstrate how you harness AI to learn, iterate, and amplify your impact.
  • • This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights to drive sales performance and client engagement. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are vital for building and nurturing relationships at all organizational levels. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities is crucial for success in this role.
  • • As a hybrid company, we emphasize in-person collaboration when necessary. Employees are expected to work from our London hub at least two days per week or eight days per month, fostering a culture of connection and teamwork. If you are driven by purpose, possess a 'fire in your belly,' and are seeking a career-defining opportunity to do life-changing work in a fun, inventive, and soulful culture, we encourage you to apply.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in executive sales roles, with a significant portion focused on enterprise-level B2B sales within the EMEA region.
  • • Proven track record of success in executive-level selling, consistently exceeding targets and demonstrating the ability to close complex deals with C-suite executives.
  • • Demonstrated experience in driving new sales, managing key accounts, and championing customer success within a sophisticated, B2B SaaS or technology environment.
  • • Experience in defining or significantly contributing to the development of innovative Go-To-Market (GTM) motions, rather than solely operating established ones.
  • • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a proven ability to translate market data, customer insights, and performance metrics into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes.
  • • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior executives and diverse stakeholders.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Flexible time off: A generous guideline of 25 days of annual leave, plus 8 UK public holidays.
  • • Enhanced wellbeing: Access to BetterUp coaching for yourself and a friend or family member, plus 4 Inner Work Days and 5 Volunteer Days annually.
  • • Professional development: An annual stipend dedicated to your professional growth and learning.
  • • Hybrid work model: A flexible hybrid structure with a minimum of 2 days per week (or 8 days per month) in our London office, complemented by free lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays, along with plentiful snacks and beverages daily.
  • • Comprehensive benefits package: Includes a generous employer pension contribution, private medical insurance options, and year-round charitable donations made on your behalf.
