- • The Vice President, Southeast Regional Operations - Project Farma is a senior executive role responsible for the performance, growth, and operational excellence of a defined geographic region, serving as the firm’s regional general manager with full accountability for regional profit and loss, client delivery, talent leadership, and revenue growth.
- • Day to day, the RVP will own financial accountability for the region including revenue, margin, utilization, and operating costs; develop and execute the regional operating plan; drive resource planning; monitor KPIs; approve hiring decisions; ensure operational discipline; serve as the senior escalation point for delivery risks; personally engage in strategic pursuits and executive-level bid defenses; develop senior executive client relationships; recruit, develop, and retain high-performing talent; lead regional operational staff and consulting personnel up through Market Director level; participate in enterprise strategic planning as a member of the Senior Leadership Team; and contribute approximately 434 billable hours annually to revenue generation while ensuring technical rigor and operational discipline.
- • The role is based in the Raleigh-Durham area with domestic travel required, within Project Farma, a PerkinElmer company, which leverages over 80 years of scientific solutions expertise to serve commercial, government, academic, and healthcare customers with analytical solutions and OneSource services, supporting clients in achieving operational readiness and excellence across complex life sciences manufacturing environments.
- • The person in this role can learn and achieve strategic leadership at the enterprise level, scale a regional organization from approximately 50 to 100 employees over two to three years, drive approximately 30% year-over-year regional growth, shape firmwide initiatives through regional adoption, and build a high-performing consulting organization capable of sustaining long-term growth while advancing PerkinElmer’s mission of innovating for a healthier world.
