  • • Own the end-to-end post-production pipeline for Abercrombie & Fitch’s global marketing campaigns, turning raw footage into scroll-stopping stories that live across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, paid social, in-store digital walls, and emerging platforms. You’ll be the final creative voice that determines how millions of customers experience the brand every day.
  • • Partner daily with directors, producers, motion designers, copywriters, and social strategists to translate seasonal concepts into tight, on-brand edits—often juggling 10–15 concurrent projects ranging from 6-second cut-downs to 3-minute hero films. Your timeline management keeps launches on track and stakeholders calm.
  • • Master our in-house style guide and then push it forward: experiment with pacing, typography, color grading, and sound design to make each asset feel unmistakably A&F while still optimized for platform-specific algorithms. Expect to A/B test hooks, captions, and thumbnail frames to drive measurable lifts in watch-time, CTR, and conversion.
  • • Build a living library of reusable motion graphics, transitions, and LUTs that can scale across teams. You’ll mentor junior editors and freelancers on best practices, ensuring every file is labeled, backed up, and delivered in the exact specs required by media buyers—no surprises, no re-exports at 2 a.m.
  • • Translate data insights from our analytics team into creative iterations. If a 0:03-second hook outperforms a 0:05-second hook by 12 %, you’ll re-cut the entire campaign before lunch. You’re as comfortable reading a performance dashboard as you are key-framing a speed ramp.
  • • Champion inclusivity and cultural relevance in every frame: source diverse music beds, subtitle for accessibility, and flag any imagery that could alienate audiences. Your edits will be seen in 30+ countries, so cultural fluency is not optional.
  • • Own the finishing polish: color-correct footage shot on everything from ARRI Alexa to iPhone 15 Pro, mix and master audio to broadcast specs, and deliver final masters in ProRes 4444, H.264, vertical 9:16, square 1:1, and every new ratio the platforms dream up next quarter.
  • • Participate in live-action shoots (remote or on-location) to advise on coverage, frame rates, and post-friendly workflows—then jump straight into the edit bay to deliver same-day social teasers that keep our community buzzing between bigger drops.
  • • Stay two steps ahead of tech trends: test AI-assisted editing tools, beta features in Premiere and Resolve, and emerging codecs so the brand never falls behind the curve. You’ll present quarterly “show-and-tell” sessions to inspire the broader creative org.
  • • Protect the brand’s legacy while propelling it into the future. Whether you’re cutting a nostalgic 90s throwback or a Gen-Z street-cast montage, your work will define how the next generation discovers Abercrombie & Fitch.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3–5+ years of high-volume, brand-side or agency video editing experience with a portfolio that demonstrates mastery of short-form social content and longer-form storytelling
  • • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and the full Creative Suite; working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for color and audio finishing
  • • Proven ability to deliver pixel-perfect exports under tight deadlines while managing feedback from multiple stakeholders without compromising creative integrity
  • • Deep understanding of platform specs, best practices, and algorithmic preferences for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and paid social placements
  • • Nice-to-have: on-set experience, motion graphics skills (Cinema 4D or Blender), basic photography, and fluency in one additional language beyond English
