• • As our new Video Producer, you will be instrumental in defining and shaping Polygon Labs' visual identity across all video platforms. This is a unique opportunity to own the end-to-end video production process, transforming raw concepts, product launches, pivotal event moments, and engaging podcast discussions into polished, high-impact content that is delivered with speed and precision. This role demands a high degree of ownership and is perfectly suited for an individual who excels in motion graphics, can rapidly transition from initial concept to final edit, and is comfortable serving as the primary video expert within a dynamic and fast-paced marketing team.
• • Your core responsibility will be to champion and execute our video strategy, ensuring that Polygon Labs' narrative is communicated effectively and engagingly through compelling visual storytelling. You will be the driving force behind creating a consistent and recognizable video presence that resonates with our target audiences, from developers and partners to end-users and the broader blockchain community.
• • Key responsibilities include the comprehensive production of product demonstration videos. This will involve capturing high-quality screen recordings, developing clear and concise feature walkthroughs, and ensuring that the technical aspects of our products are presented in an accessible and understandable manner. The goal is to clearly articulate the value and functionality of Polygon Labs' offerings through expertly crafted video content.
• • You will also be tasked with capturing and editing content from significant events. This includes conducting insightful interviews with key stakeholders, thought leaders, and community members, as well as producing dynamic highlight reels that encapsulate the energy and key takeaways of these gatherings. Global travel may be required to capture these moments firsthand, ensuring authentic and immediate representation of our presence at industry events.
• • A significant part of this role will involve creating short-form social media content. This requires an understanding of platform-specific best practices and trends to produce engaging videos optimized for platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating compelling cut-downs of our podcast content, transforming longer discussions into digestible and shareable clips that drive engagement and broaden our reach.
• • The ability to deliver content with fast turnarounds and within tight feedback loops is paramount. You will work closely with the marketing team and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, objectives, and messaging. Your capacity to efficiently incorporate feedback and iterate on creative assets will be crucial to meeting project deadlines and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
• • To maximize efficiency and consistency, you will leverage modern production workflows and tools. This includes exploring and implementing innovative techniques in editing, motion graphics, and asset management. When necessary, you will also coordinate and manage external support, such as freelance editors or specialized production houses, ensuring that all outsourced work meets Polygon Labs' stringent quality benchmarks and brand guidelines.
