  • • The Virtual Outbound Agency Sales Support Specialist supports National General’s growth initiatives by executing outbound agency engagement and sales support activities, playing a key role in expanding agency participation and product adoption through campaign-based outreach and test-and-learn efforts.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include executing outbound outreach to independent insurance agencies, conducting professional B2B conversations to communicate product value, managing high-volume call lists with urgency and attention to detail, and supporting multiple concurrent sales initiatives such as prospecting campaigns, pilot programs, and re-engagement efforts for inactive or under-penetrated agencies.
  • • The role involves serving as the primary outbound point of contact for agencies, addressing common questions and objections using approved messaging, maintaining consistent agency experiences to support long-term relationship building, and partnering with internal teams to ensure timely follow-through after engagement.
  • • The specialist is responsible for maintaining highly detailed and accurate records of outreach activity, agency responses, and outcomes; tracking performance against call volume and outreach targets; producing regular status updates; and ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and data privacy standards, including safeguarding PII and escalating data or compliance concerns as needed.
  • • The role is based at National General, a part of The Allstate Corporation, headquartered in New York City, which offers personal and commercial insurance products through a large network of independent agents and directly to consumers, with a financial strength rating of A– from A.M. Best and a legacy dating back to 1939.
  • • The person in this role can develop expertise in B2B sales support, agency relationship management, outbound campaign execution, data tracking and reporting, and compliance within the insurance industry, while gaining experience in a dynamic, test-and-learn environment that values adaptability, urgency, and attention to detail.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience working in a B2B, agency, sales support, or outbound contact environment
  • • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with external partners
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume outreach or execution work with urgency
  • • Strong organizational skills, including detailed tracking and documentation
  • • Experience working with independent insurance agencies and knowledge of Property & Casualty products preferred
  • • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
  • • 0-2 years experience (Preferred)
