  • EVERSANA, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Virtual Sales Representative (VSR) to join a specialized remote team supporting Shionogi Inc.'s anticipated launch in the Primary Care sector.
  • As a VSR, you will be at the forefront of commercializing Shionogi therapies, engaging with healthcare providers and offices through impactful teleconference and telephone interactions.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to deliver crucial clinical information and educational materials, fostering a deep understanding of Shionogi's products and their therapeutic benefits.
  • This role demands flexibility and adaptability, as responsibilities will extend beyond direct sales to include white space coverage and vacant territory management, ensuring seamless market penetration and support.
  • You will collaborate closely with Shionogi employees, acting as a vital extension of their team to address stakeholder needs comprehensively and effectively.
  • A key aspect of your role will be to create positive and memorable virtual interactions, driving appropriate growth for the client's product(s) through strategic engagement.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are paramount, enabling you to build rapport and establish trust with healthcare professionals and their office staff.
  • You will leverage polished marketing and commercial acumen to meaningfully engage office stakeholders, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • A thorough understanding of assigned products, including their detailed mechanisms of action, clinical data, and patient benefits, is essential for addressing questions and concerns, thereby ensuring appropriate therapeutic use.
  • The VSR must possess a strong capacity to learn and articulate complex medical topics, navigate industry compliance guidelines, understand Shionogi's specific programs, and comprehend the intricacies of the pharmacy and insurance landscapes.
  • **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
  • Successfully complete all assigned disease state and product training within required timeframes, establishing a strong foundation for performance.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the market, disease states, clinical information, and core selling messages relevant to Shionogi's portfolio.
  • Conduct thorough pre-approval territory preparation, including in-depth data gathering, and facilitate the subsequent transfer of this information to field representation where applicable.
  • Take ownership of individual virtual territory sales goals, working towards achieving Sales and Management by Objectives (MBOs) post-approval.
  • Deliver review committee-approved, education-focused messages and detailed disease-state information for assigned therapeutic areas to targeted healthcare providers (HCPs).
  • Actively partner with existing Shionogi employees to collaboratively build and execute approved business plans, ensuring alignment and maximizing impact.
  • Enhance HCP awareness of Shionogi's product(s) and supporting clinical data, equipping them with the necessary tools to facilitate robust clinical conversations.
  • Empower HCPs to effectively educate their patients about the assigned therapeutic area and relevant treatment options.
  • Increase overall awareness within the assigned therapeutic area, building trust, knowledge, and confidence among HCPs to identify potential treatment gaps in appropriate patient populations.
  • Consistently achieve call activity and adherence goals, alongside brand performance objectives set by the client, ensuring all activities are conducted compliantly and effectively.
  • Accurately generate sample and literature requests, performing appropriate follow-up and investigation on shipments as needed to ensure timely delivery.
  • Meticulously maintain database entries for all targeted customer calls, including call attempts, product discussions, literature requests, and sample requests.
  • Provide constructive feedback and actionable recommendations to team leadership regarding areas and opportunities for improvement in strategy and execution.
  • Strictly adhere to all company, PDMA, compliance, and regulatory policies and guidelines, maintaining the highest ethical standards.
  • Work independently and effectively from a dedicated remote home office environment.
  • Cultivate and manage your assigned virtual territory, demonstrating accountability for measurable results and driving business growth.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the EVERSANA and Shionogi partnership.
