  • • The Virtual Sales Team Leader (VS-TL) at AIA Group Limited leads and develops Virtual Sales Representatives (VSRs) to meet sales targets while advancing AIA’s mission of helping a billion people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives by 2030.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include promoting and maintaining the reputation of BPI AIA and its affiliates, ensuring team members meet committed targets and service levels, implementing activity management per company standards, and providing necessary logistics for VSRs to perform effectively.
  • • The role involves establishing and growing relationships with key bank stakeholders such as Field Sales Managers (FSM), Field Sales Team Leaders (FSTL), OF Team Leaders (OFTL), and Area Business Directors (ABD) through regular meetings and communication to support area/team production targets.
  • • The VS-TL motivates, trains, and coaches VSRs on compliance, code of conduct, and market conduct guidelines, identifies training and communication needs for both VSRs and bank staff, and prepares consolidated reports for internal and external management stakeholders.
  • • This position is part of AIA’s marketing, distribution & partnership team, where the individual contributes to purpose-led brand positioning and meaningful customer connections across channels, directly supporting the company’s sustainability and health-focused vision.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in sales team leadership or supervisory roles, particularly in managing and developing sales representatives.
  • • Strong ability to meet and drive achievement of sales targets and service levels through effective activity management and performance monitoring.
  • • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain professional relationships with bank stakeholders including FSM, FSTL, OFTL, and ABD.
  • • Experience in training, coaching, and motivating sales teams, including identifying development needs and ensuring compliance with conduct guidelines.
  • • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing consolidated reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • • Ability to ensure logistical support and resources are in place for Virtual Sales Representatives to perform their duties effectively.
