• • Lilt Production is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portuguese Voice Coach to join our innovative team on a remote, freelance contractor basis. As a Voice Coach, you will play a critical role in guiding voice talents to produce high-quality recordings that meet stringent technical and linguistic standards. Your expertise will directly impact the effectiveness and naturalness of AI-powered communication tools, making information accessible across language barriers.
• • In this role, you will be responsible for providing real-time coaching and feedback to voice talents during recording sessions. Your primary objective is to ensure the consistency, quality, and accuracy of the spoken Portuguese (Portugal) audio. This involves meticulously monitoring recordings for a range of factors, including but not limited to:
• • Consistent quality: Ensuring that the overall audio output is clear, free from unwanted noise, and meets professional recording standards.
• • Stable rhythm and tempo: Guiding talents to maintain a natural and appropriate pace of speech, avoiding rushed or overly slow delivery.
• • Controlled pitch and amplitude: Helping talents to modulate their voice effectively, ensuring vocal clarity and avoiding extremes in pitch or volume that could compromise the recording.
• • Correct diction and articulation: Coaching talents to pronounce words clearly and distinctly, ensuring that every syllable is intelligible and free from mumbling or slurring.
• • You will act as the "second ears" for the recording process, leveraging your deep understanding of phonetics, prosody, and the nuances of the Portuguese language. Your keen auditory perception will be essential in identifying subtle deviations from the desired performance and providing constructive, actionable feedback to the voice talents. This coaching requires a proactive approach, anticipating potential issues and guiding talents to correct them before they become ingrained in the recording.

You will be expected to be present either in a physical studio setting or virtually, depending on the setup for each recording session.
