📋 Description
- • As Vice President of Client Sales for the Oncology Vertical at PatientPoint, you will lead the strategic expansion of the company’s presence in oncology, genetic testing, and genomics markets by cultivating high-value client relationships and driving net-new revenue from pharmaceutical and diagnostic brands. This role is critical to establishing PatientPoint as a trusted, essential partner in integrated brand plans—not just a tactical vendor—by aligning sales efforts with complex buyer journeys across medical, commercial, and agency stakeholders.
- • You will own the full sales lifecycle: identifying and unlocking non-obvious budget owners within testing organizations, engaging agencies of record (AORs) and specialty oncology agencies to influence budget allocation, building multi-level relationships across brand, commercial, medical affairs, and patient education teams, and driving alignment between brand teams and agencies to accelerate pilot programs and scaled engagements. Your success will be measured by new revenue creation, speed to market, and landing flagship accounts that validate PatientPoint as a credible growth channel in oncology.
- • You will act as the connective tissue between PatientPoint, oncology brands, and their agency partners—maintaining deal momentum, shortening sales cycles, and fostering long-term client relationships to ensure strong renewal rates. This requires translating complex scientific and clinical concepts into compelling commercial urgency, articulating ROI to sophisticated buyers, and representing PatientPoint at premier industry forums like AACR, ASCO, PMWC, and the Festival of Genomics.

- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in oncology testing ecosystems, biomarker-driven therapies, companion diagnostics, and reimbursement dynamics—positioning yourself as a visible commercial leader in the precision medicine landscape. You’ll shape go-to-market strategy, not just execute it, and gain unparalleled experience influencing healthcare commercialization at the intersection of science, media, and patient engagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare media sales, agency account management, or digital marketing with documented success in generating net-new revenue
- • Deep, proven experience in oncology pharmaceutical and testing companies, including prior work at oncology diagnostics firms, genomics companies, oncology-focused agencies, or platforms
- • Ability to translate complex clinical and scientific complexity into commercial urgency and articulate ROI and outcomes to scientifically sophisticated buyers
- • Comfortable engaging with scientific, medical, and executive audiences, and experienced in selling data-driven value propositions beyond purely promotional offerings
- • Experience shaping go-to-market (GTM) strategy, not just executing it, and comfort representing PatientPoint at major industry conferences (AACR, ASCO, PMWC, Festival of Genomics, etc.)
- • Willingness and ability to travel 40%+ to engage clients and stakeholders face-to-face
