📋 Description
- • The VP of Complex Assets at Fidelity Charitable manages the acceptance, oversight, and liquidation of complex assets such as private equity, hedge funds, and LLCs on behalf of philanthropists and their advisors, ensuring charitable transfers are completed from inquiry to funding.
- • Day to day, you will work directly with donors and their advisors through the entire charitable giving process, review assets for acceptance via due diligence and risk assessment, engage with corporate issuers and legal counsel, travel to support territories, and collaborate with internal teams to develop practice management modules and thought leadership.
- • Fidelity Charitable is a public charity operating the largest national donor-advised fund program, sponsored by Fidelity Investments, which provides all employees and operational support including program development, marketing, service delivery, and compliance.
- • In this role, you will deepen relationships with high-net-worth individuals and advisors, lead strategic initiatives in philanthropy, enhance your expertise in complex asset valuation and tax-efficient giving, and influence the evolution of charitable giving practices through thought leadership and client education.
🎯 Requirements
- • J.D. degree required
- • Minimum of 5 years of law firm or in-house experience
- • 5+ years of relationship management experience
- • Experience in taxation, private equity, or the private capital ecosystem
- • Experience working with financial intermediaries, T&E attorneys, CPAs, or CFPs for wealth planning
- • CFP certification is a plus
