📋 Description

• The VP Global Services AMER will lead and strategically direct all aspects of Hitachi's services business across the Americas region, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, operational excellence, and significant revenue growth.
• Day to day, the role involves developing and executing the strategic vision for Global Services in the Americas, overseeing end-to-end delivery of services engagements (consulting, implementation, support, managed services), driving revenue growth and profitability through P&L management, building and mentoring high-performing teams, establishing key client relationships, collaborating with sales and product teams, implementing best practices for service delivery, managing strategic partnerships, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
• Hitachi Vantara is the data foundation trusted by the world’s innovators, providing resilient, high-performance data infrastructure that enables customers—from banks to theme parks—to focus on achieving incredible outcomes with data. • In this role, the person can learn to lead a large, matrixed global services organization, deepen expertise in technology services trends and competitive dynamics, refine strategic business acumen in translating vision into execution, and strengthen executive-level client and stakeholder influence while driving integrated solutions across sales, product, and service lines.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in services delivery, consulting, or professional services, with at least 8-10 years in a senior leadership role overseeing a large regional or global services organization
• Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth, managing P&L, and achieving operational excellence in a complex services environment
• Deep understanding of the technology services landscape, including emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and customer expectations
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Americas region as required
