  • • As VP, Hub Leader at Synchrony Financial, you will lead the successful operation of the 650+ employee Global Servicing Team based in the Phoenix Virtual Hub, driving performance, service delivery, and talent development across a critical customer-facing function.
  • • You will own performance metrics tied to over 3.5 million annual phone calls, manage a $35MM annual budget, and guide Operations Servicing Leaders to optimize customer processes, champion automation, and deliver best-in-class partner and customer experiences.
  • • You will collaborate across Synchrony’s 800-person Phoenix hub and global servicing network to build a cohesive leadership strategy that fosters an employee-centric culture, strengthens community engagement, and aligns with company values through partnerships with HR, Technology, Shared Services, and other functions.
  • • In this role, you will design innovative work models and talent strategies to reduce regrettable attrition, develop leaders, promote diversity and inclusion, and ensure compliance with data security and business continuity protocols while advancing SYF’s brand in the local marketplace.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 8 years of experience in financial services, collections, operations, or customer service call-center environment (or 12 years experience in lieu of degree)
  • • Minimum 8 years of supervisory or leadership experience managing exempt and non-exempt employees in a large matrixed organization
  • • Strong PC proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and demonstrated ability to analyze data using Excel tools like pivot tables and basic formulas
  • • Strong written communication skills to create clear, concise, and well-structured employee communications for diverse audiences
  • • Demonstrated influencing skills to direct, persuade, and influence stakeholders across functions and levels
  • • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
  • • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona
