  • • As the VP of Business Development, you will not merely be selling a platform; you will be instrumental in forging transformative, multi-year partnerships with leading global biopharmaceutical companies. Your success will directly cement SandboxAQ's position as the undisputed market leader in AI-driven simulation for drug discovery and development.
  • • This is a high-impact, hands-on role that demands both strategic vision and tactical execution. You will be responsible for personally driving our most ambitious and complex deal cycles, while simultaneously leading and mentoring a small, dedicated, and highly specialized commercial team.
  • • You will serve as the primary architect of our commercial strategy for BioSim. This involves designing, implementing, and iterating on a comprehensive go-to-market plan that navigates the intricate landscape of the global biopharma ecosystem. Your objective is to secure significant, long-term collaborations that will directly steer the growth trajectory and market penetration of the entire BioSim business unit.
  • • Orchestrate and lead the end-to-end negotiation of first-of-their-kind commercial collaborations. These will be complex, high-value deals with global biopharma leaders, characterized by substantial upfront payments and ambitious long-term milestone achievements, reflecting the truly novel nature of our offerings.
  • • Formulate and execute a dynamic global commercial strategy for the BioSim group. This includes identifying untapped market opportunities, understanding evolving customer needs, and ensuring our pricing models accurately capture and reflect the immense, transformative value our AI-powered simulation technology delivers.
  • • Act as a player-coach for a specialized commercial team. You will provide hands-on guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction on deal structuring, complex negotiations, and client relationship management, while personally maintaining accountability for nurturing and expanding our most high-stakes strategic accounts.
  • • Cultivate and maintain deep, trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders within target organizations. You will serve as the primary commercial point of contact for Heads of R&D, Chief Technology Officers, and Heads of Innovation, demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of their scientific challenges, business objectives, and strategic priorities.
  • • Establish and implement robust, scalable sales processes and rigorous qualification frameworks. This ensures a transparent, predictable, and data-driven deal pipeline that is meticulously aligned with company-wide growth targets and financial objectives.
  • • Drive the commercialization of our proprietary Large Quantitative Models (LQMs) within the life sciences sector, translating complex scientific capabilities into tangible commercial value propositions.
  • • Collaborate closely with our world-class scientific and engineering teams to ensure our commercial strategy is informed by the latest technological advancements and market feedback.
  • • Develop and refine value-based engagement models, encompassing joint development agreements, strategic consulting services, and product licensing, tailored to the unique needs of the biopharma industry.
  • • Represent SandboxAQ and the BioSim vision at key industry conferences, forums, and executive briefings, establishing thought leadership and generating new business opportunities.
  • • Continuously analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer feedback to adapt and optimize our commercial approach, ensuring sustained competitive advantage and market leadership.
