📋 Description

• As VP of Operations at Sphere Laboratories Inc., you will lead the operational backbone of a fast-growing fintech company building modern, compliance-native infrastructure for cross-border payments and settlement, directly enabling the evolution of global money movement in partnership with major financial institutions and regulators.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and scaling operational systems, managing cross-functional workflows across engineering, compliance, and product teams, establishing performance metrics, optimizing internal processes for a fully remote global workforce, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals amid rapid growth in the stablecoin and institutional finance space.
• Sphere Labs is a fully remote, global team backed by industry leaders including Coinbase, Kraken, The Chernin Group, Jump Trading, and Hudson River Trading, operating at the intersection of blockchain innovation and regulated finance, with a mission to rebuild financial infrastructure for the modern era.
• In this role, you will gain deep exposure to high-stakes financial systems, regulatory landscapes, and global payment networks, while building scalable operational frameworks that support institutional adoption — positioning you as a key architect in the next generation of global money movement.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in operations leadership within fintech, payments, or regulated financial services
• Strong ability to design and scale operational systems in a remote, global environment
• Experience working with banks, licensed entities, or regulators in the financial sector
• Expertise in cross-functional collaboration between engineering, compliance, and product teams
• Track record of building processes from scratch in high-growth, early-stage companies
• Exceptional communication and systematic thinking skills
