📋 Description

• The VP of Products & Platform at OPSWAT will own the technical vision and product strategy for MetaDefender Core and Enterprise Shared Services, shaping the foundational platform that every product team builds on, every customer deploys with confidence, and every enterprise buyer trusts to meet demanding security and compliance requirements.
• Day to day, the role involves driving product strategy for Core’s evolution in modular design, throughput, format coverage, and API extensibility; leading Enterprise Shared Services initiatives including unified installation, configuration and policy management, identity and access (SSO/RBAC/SAML/OIDC), notifications and reporting, observability, scalability, UI framework, and internal adoption; collaborating with two dedicated engineering teams (40+ headcount) while influencing 12+ peer engineering teams globally; auditing and roadmapping platform adoption in months 1–3, establishing internal product organization and evangelism in months 3–6, and accelerating adoption and modernizing Core’s architecture in months 6–12.

• In this role, the individual will learn to balance platform innovation with enterprise-grade reliability, gain influence across a multi-product portfolio, develop expertise in scaling platforms from partial to full adoption, and establish themselves as a trusted internal seller and strategic leader capable of earning adoption through compelling developer experience and measurable outcomes.
