  • • Lavendo Inc. is at the forefront of enterprise data privacy, offering a pioneering governance platform designed to revolutionize how organizations manage their data privacy and compliance obligations. Founded by a seasoned leader with a proven track record, our client is already serving a prestigious roster of Fortune 500 companies across critical sectors including retail, finance, healthcare, and telecommunications. At the heart of our solution lies a patented Hybrid AI technology, engineered to automate complex privacy governance processes and ensure adherence to stringent global regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. This role is not just about selling a product; it's about contributing to a mission that fosters a more responsible digital future, advocating for robust data privacy legislation, and empowering corporations to protect customer data ethically while safeguarding individual freedoms. We aim to build greater transparency and trust, enhancing the crucial relationships between businesses and consumers by making privacy management accessible, automated, and actionable for all.
  • • As the VP of Sales, Enterprise Data Privacy SaaS, you will be instrumental in driving the company's hyper-growth phase, with a clear objective to accelerate Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from its current standing to $30M–$50M+. This is a dynamic, hands-on 'player-coach' position, perfectly suited for a seasoned enterprise sales leader with a deep understanding of SaaS sales within the enterprise market. Your primary responsibility will be to scale the sales organization effectively, meticulously managing and driving complex sales cycles with large enterprise accounts, including Fortune 1000 organizations. You will be expected to actively engage in high-stakes, complex negotiations, ultimately closing significant, high-value deals with an ARR typically exceeding $200,000, often engaging directly with C-suite executives.
  • • A critical aspect of this role involves the meticulous monitoring of team sales targets, providing consistent, constructive feedback, and conducting regular performance evaluations to ensure optimal team output. You will be tasked with the strategic hiring, comprehensive mentoring, and professional development of both Business Development Representative (BDR) and Account Executive (AE) teams, ensuring they are equipped to meet and exceed ambitious growth targets. Your leadership will extend to providing direct, hands-on coaching, cultivating a high-performance culture that is both driven and receptive to continuous improvement. Furthermore, you will be responsible for refining existing sales processes and implementing new, scalable playbooks specifically tailored for the enterprise cybersecurity and data privacy sales landscape.
  • • Strategic development and execution will be key, as you devise and implement strategies to significantly scale revenue within the highly competitive enterprise data privacy and security market. This includes a deep dive into market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the cybersecurity and identity management space. Building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with key enterprise clients and strategic partners will be paramount to sustained success. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate sales forecasts and managing departmental budgets effectively, ensuring financial discipline and strategic resource allocation. Cross-functional collaboration will be essential, working closely with product development, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy and seamless customer experience from acquisition to retention.
  • • The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 10 years of B2B SaaS product sales experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to sales team management. A consistent, verifiable history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas is non-negotiable, alongside demonstrated success in navigating and closing complex sales cycles within Fortune 1000 enterprises. A strong professional presence, coupled with a robust personal brand evident through platforms like LinkedIn and active industry engagement, is highly valued. While the role is based in Tysons, VA, we are open to candidates in the VA/MD/DC area or those willing to relocate, with company-paid relocation assistance available. This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence in Tysons, VA, three days per week. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. institution is required, with an MBA being a preferred qualification. Most importantly, you must embody a true player-coach mentality, leading by example and actively participating in the sales process rather than solely directing. A low-ego approach, openness to feedback, and a commitment to continuous self-improvement are essential. Hands-on technical credibility is crucial, enabling you to effectively communicate with and understand the needs of security and privacy professionals. A strong work ethic, unwavering honesty, and transparent communication are the bedrock of our company culture.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of B2B SaaS product sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in sales team management.
  • • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas, with demonstrated success in closing complex deals within Fortune 1000 enterprises.
  • • Strong professional presence and personal brand (e.g., active LinkedIn profile, industry engagement).
  • • Player-coach mentality: ability to lead by example and actively participate in sales activities.
  • • Hands-on technical credibility to engage effectively with security and privacy professionals.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $350,000+, with potential to achieve $600,000-$700,000 annually.
  • • Equity: Stock options in a high-growth, innovative privacy technology company.
  • • Comprehensive Medical Coverage: 100% company-paid Gold plan for health, dental, and vision, with zero out-of-pocket costs for employees and their families.
  • • Fully covered life insurance and 401(k) with company match.
