- • Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and lead a team of exceptional professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. - • A core tenet of this role is the meticulous management of the regional Profit and Loss (P&L). You will be accountable for the financial health of the Professional Services organization in the Americas, meticulously tracking revenue growth and margin performance against company objectives. This requires a strategic approach to resource allocation, pricing, and service offering development, ensuring profitability while maximizing customer value.
- • Collaboration is key to success. You will work in close partnership with Regional Sales Managers to strategically define, scope, and close services engagements. This involves understanding customer needs deeply, translating them into robust service offerings, and ensuring seamless handoffs from sales to delivery. Your expertise will be crucial in architecting solutions that align with client business goals and Cloudera's technological capabilities.
- • You will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, building and maintaining strong executive-level relationships. This includes proactively managing customer relationships, addressing project escalations with swift and effective solutions, and actively participating in executive steering committee meetings. Your ability to instill confidence and demonstrate tangible value will be paramount in fostering long-term partnerships.
- • A deep understanding of Cloudera's software and its application in diverse enterprise environments is essential. You will be expected to attain mastery over our product suite and become a subject matter expert, enabling you to guide teams and clients through complex implementations and strategic data initiatives. This includes a strong foundational knowledge of database technologies, networks, distributed computing, programming languages, and operating systems, with Hadoop experience being a significant advantage.
- • You will champion and refine software implementation methodologies, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget. This involves staying abreast of industry best practices and adapting them to Cloudera's unique ecosystem, driving predictable and successful project execution.
