- • As VP of Sales for the Americas at Cohere Inc., you will spearhead year-over-year revenue growth by developing and executing enterprise-level customer acquisition strategies across North America, South America, and Central America, directly contributing to the company’s mission of scaling AI intelligence for humanity.
- • You will lead and mentor the enterprise sales team, drive strategic go-to-market initiatives, partner with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to align sales efforts, represent Cohere at industry and government events, manage high-value client relationships, and analyze market trends to inform data-driven decisions.
- • Cohere is a fast-growing AI research and deployment company composed of world-class researchers, engineers, and designers dedicated to building frontier models that power real-world AI applications like content generation, semantic search, RAG, and autonomous agents, with a strong commitment to innovation, diversity, and impact.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape Cohere’s market presence in the Americas, develop leadership expertise in scaling enterprise AI sales, influence cross-functional strategy, and drive measurable business outcomes while working alongside pioneers in generative AI.
🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of VP-level experience leading go-to-market efforts and driving revenue growth for fast-paced technology organizations in North America
- • Proven track record in leading enterprise-level consultative solution sales and business development with deep understanding of regional GTM strategy, customer success, and resource allocation
- • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence at all levels
- • Experience working in a matrixed environment, coordinating across teams and regions without relying on a large direct organization
- • Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working independently and driving impact as a builder
- • Experience in AI or a related industry is highly desirable
