- • As VP of Sales – East at Ambient AI Inc., you will lead the charge in preventing security incidents by driving revenue growth across the East Coast region, managing a team of 4–6 Regional Sales Managers, and serving as a key architect of the company’s expansion strategy reporting directly to the CRO. This role is critical to scaling Ambient.ai’s mission of making every security incident preventable through its agentic physical security platform, which integrates with existing camera and sensor systems to deliver real-time threat detection and reduce false alarms by over 95%.
- • You will be responsible for achieving revenue growth across all revenue channels in the East Coast, coaching the sales team on company-adopted methodologies like MEDDPICC, Force Management, and Command of the Message to ensure rapid value realization for prospects and customers, developing and implementing a comprehensive enterprise sales strategy aligned with company goals, setting and adjusting sales targets to meet or exceed quotas, recruiting and hiring top enterprise sales talent, delivering timely and accurate sales forecasts to leadership, and demonstrating deep knowledge and passion for the physical security industry.
- • You will join a mission-driven, Series B-backed company founded in 2017 and supported by Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, and Allegion Ventures, with seven of the top 10 U.S. technology companies and multiple Fortune 500 organizations relying on Ambient.ai to protect their people, places, and assets. The company fosters in-person collaboration, with engineering, product, design, and marketing teams working from Redwood City three days a week and Bay Area employees joining on Fridays to maintain connection and alignment.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to scale a high-impact sales organization in a rapidly growing market, develop elite enterprise sales talent, close seven-figure deals with Fortune 100 customers, and directly contribute to Ambient.ai’s vision of preventing every security incident possible—while growing your leadership expertise in a cutting-edge AI-powered security category within a $120B+ industry.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales with a focus on hunter roles, new customer acquisition, and pipeline growth
- • 4+ years of experience managing enterprise sales teams, including hiring and training talent at scale
- • Outstanding track record of success managing enterprise accounts and opportunities to closure, with consistent over-attainment of quotas of $1M+ annual recurring revenue
- • Demonstrated knowledge and interest in the physical security industry
- • Proven expertise in sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Force Management, and Command of the Message
- • Ability to travel as required for customer engagement and team leadership
