- • Lead daily operations for the 3rd shift warehouse team, ensuring efficient receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders across Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and other platforms.
- • Supervise and coach a team of warehouse associates, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and support to maintain productivity and safety standards.
- • Monitor and enforce compliance with all company safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and warehouse procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including inventory control, logistics, and quality assurance to resolve discrepancies, manage stock accuracy, and meet daily shipment targets.
- • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update order statuses, and generate shift reports for management review.
- • Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce errors, and optimize labor efficiency during the overnight shift.
- • Conduct pre-shift briefings and post-shift debriefs to communicate priorities, address operational issues, and recognize team performance.
- • Manage timekeeping and attendance records for the shift team, ensuring accurate payroll data and adherence to scheduling requirements.
- • Respond to urgent operational issues such as equipment failures, missing inventory, or delayed shipments, escalating as needed to higher-level management.
- • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in alignment with company and regulatory standards.
- • Train new hires on warehouse procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols, ensuring consistent onboarding across the 3rd shift team.
- • Collaborate with supervisors from other shifts to ensure seamless handoffs and continuity of operations throughout the 24-hour cycle.
- • Achieve and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) including order accuracy, on-time shipping rates, and labor productivity metrics.
- • Support inventory cycle counts and year-end audits by organizing team efforts and verifying data integrity in real-time systems.
- • Maintain open communication with warehouse management to relay team concerns, resource needs, and operational insights from the overnight shift.
- • Adhere to all company policies regarding confidentiality, data security, and ethical conduct in handling customer and partner inventory data.
- • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, seasonal volume spikes, and urgent client demands without compromising operational standards.
