- • Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, picking, staging, packaging, and internal transfers of high-value AI hardware such as GPUs, servers, and networking components.
- • Design and optimize warehouse layout, racking systems, and storage strategies to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- • Develop, implement, and enforce standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for material movement, inventory transactions, and physical inventory control.
- • Own and execute cycle count programs and physical inventory audits in coordination with finance and accounting teams to ensure accuracy.
- • Ensure timely and accurate ERP system transactions (NetSuite preferred) for all inventory movements and tracking activities.
- • Enforce full OSHA compliance across all warehouse activities, equipment usage, and personnel practices, conducting regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- • Foster a safety-first culture by promoting incident reporting, hazard identification, and adherence to warehouse safety best practices.
- • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment that meets company and regulatory standards.
- • Monitor and improve key warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment speed, and throughput efficiency.
- • Identify, lead, and implement continuous improvement projects focused on process optimization, scalability, and operational discipline.
- • Train, mentor, and manage warehouse team members to ensure accountability, operational excellence, and consistent performance.
- • Manage the accurate handling and movement of sensitive and high-value hardware assets with strict attention to detail and security protocols.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, logistics, and engineering teams to align warehouse operations with broader business goals.
- • Ensure all warehouse activities support Lambda’s mission of delivering reliable, high-performance AI infrastructure to customers worldwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in warehouse and materials management, preferably in high-tech or hardware environments
- • Proven experience in warehouse layout planning, space optimization, and process improvement
- • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, warehouse systems, and ERP software (NetSuite a plus)
- • Excellent organizational, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification preferred)
- • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety compliance requirements, and warehouse safety best practices
