  • • Join Hawkeye Innovations Limited, a leader in the rapidly expanding US sports technology market, as a Warehouse Technician at our regional headquarters in Atlanta, GA. This is a casual hourly contract role, offering an immediate start and an hourly rate of $25. You will be an integral part of our dynamic Warehouse/Hardware team, contributing to our cutting-edge work with major sports leagues including the NFL, NHL, MLB, and NBA.
  • • This position is crucial for supporting both our office-based and on-site operations, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service within the ever-evolving sports technology sector. Your responsibilities will be diverse, encompassing critical functions such as meticulous inventory management, precise hardware builds, essential hardware support, and efficient logistics.
  • • You will manage a varied workload, from essential daily operational tasks to regular, yet occasional duties, all strategically aligned with the dynamic needs of our business cycle. This role presents a significant opportunity for professional growth and career advancement, directly contingent upon your performance, your ability to integrate seamlessly with the team, and our company's overall business growth trajectory.
  • • **Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) of Broken Hardware:** A key responsibility will be to build and rigorously follow established processes for testing returned hardware. This involves accurately determining the root cause of issues, implementing effective fixes where possible, or preparing the hardware for return to the supplier. You will meticulously follow established procedures and maintain clear communication with suppliers to ensure broken hardware is repaired efficiently. Specific testing responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ASUS Server Testing, SuperMicro Server Testing, Birger control testing, Emergent Module Stress Testing, and SFP Testing.
  • • You will be expected to communicate detailed root causes to the Hardware Quality Assurance (HQA) team using ClickUp and diligently update the Critical Items Inventory Sheet with comprehensive RMA notes, ensuring all hardware statuses are accurately tracked.
  • • **Rental Kits Checkout and Tracking:** You will be responsible for meticulously following established processes to track all "rental" hardware, which includes vital equipment such as DSLRs, Spare Kits, Calibration Kits, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintaining the highest quality and cleanliness standards for all rental kits is paramount, ensuring that proper handling and usage practices are consistently followed by all users.
  • • You will proactively ensure that stock levels are consistently maintained to meet the demands of installation and maintenance needs. Promptly reporting any potential shortfalls or the need for procurement to the Hardware Lead is essential for operational continuity.
  • • **Kit Builds:** You will be tasked with building various kits assigned by the Builds and Warehouse Lead, adhering strictly to the provided kit lists. These kits may include specialized equipment for projects such as SMART, BR, Tracking Baseball, POC, and Tracking NBA. You will meticulously track the progress of all kit packing activities within ClickUp and update the Builds Master sheet to reflect real-time status.
  • • Before any kit is dispatched, you will perform thorough Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) checks to guarantee the highest standards of quality and functionality. You will also coordinate and potentially lead additional personnel within the warehouse to ensure kits are built and prepared for shipment within specified timeframes.
  • • Preparing completed kits for shipment involves careful palletizing and securing of all hardware to prevent damage during transit.
  • • **Warehouse Goods In:** Upon the arrival of any delivery, you will ensure it is promptly updated in ClickUp, announced in the relevant Slack channel, and stored in an appropriate, organized location within the warehouse. Items will be inventoried as necessary to maintain accurate stock records.
  • • **Warehouse Goods Out:** You will efficiently fulfill shipment requests made via ClickUp or through other channels. This involves accurately gathering the requested hardware, configuring it as necessary, and ensuring it is ready for pickup by FedEx. Specific processes must be followed for critical hardware shipments, including servers (involving hardware installation and functionality testing) and modules (requiring back-focusing and IPing).
  • • You will also be responsible for troubleshooting kits and preparing calibration kits for shipment. Throughout this process, you will diligently update the Slack and ClickUp workflows to reflect the progress of each shipment.
  • • **Inventory Management:** Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date inventory system is a core function. This involves consistently updating the Critical Items Inventory Sheet whenever items are taken or returned. Detailed notes should be added to equipment within the inventory system to provide context and history.
  • • You will provide essential inventory information to the Hardware Team based on current stock levels, enabling informed decision-making. Regular audits of the critical items inventory are required to ensure its accuracy and integrity.
  • • **Warehouse Operations:** Ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of the workspace is vital. This includes assisting with workstation check-outs, confirming that all stations are clean and fully functional, and maintaining a tidy and organized work area for daily use. This extends to common areas such as meeting rooms, warehouse shelving, and the freight area, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
