- • As a Web Designer at Neon One, you will play a pivotal role in helping nonprofit organizations successfully launch stunning and highly functional websites on our proprietary Neon Websites platform. This role is a unique hybrid, demanding both hands-on creative design work and robust project management capabilities, making it the perfect fit for individuals who excel at both artistic creation and guiding projects from inception to successful completion.
- • You will engage directly with our nonprofit clients, guiding them through a comprehensive 10–12 week website development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include keeping clients on track with project timelines, meticulously gathering all necessary content, and ensuring that every project progresses seamlessly from the initial kickoff meeting all the way through to the final site launch. This involves a deep understanding of the client's needs and the ability to translate those needs into an effective and visually appealing online presence.
- • Your primary responsibilities will encompass a wide range of critical tasks:
- • Collaborating intimately with customers to design, develop, and implement visually appealing and highly functional Duda websites utilizing the Neon Websites platform. This includes understanding client branding, user experience goals, and content requirements.
- • Taking ownership of a significant portfolio of new clients, serving as their primary point of contact from the moment the contract is signed until the website is successfully launched. You will be their trusted advisor and guide throughout the entire process.
- • Leading key phases of the project lifecycle, including defining the information architecture to ensure logical site structure, crafting compelling visual designs that align with client branding, developing effective content strategies, and meticulously implementing the site’s features and functionality.
- • Facilitating live, web-based client meetings, which will include initial introductory sessions to understand project scope, crucial feedback sessions to iterate on designs, and comprehensive training sessions to empower clients to manage their new websites.
- • Creating essential content pages and strategically recommending appropriate widgets within the Duda platform to enhance site functionality and user engagement.
- • Working in close collaboration with the Neon CRM implementation team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for clients onto both the Neon Website and Neon CRM platforms. You will also assist customers in establishing and optimizing the integration between their newly launched website and their Neon CRM system, ensuring a cohesive digital ecosystem.
- • Demonstrating exceptional ability to effectively scope out and meticulously organize the workload for multiple projects, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- • Showcasing demonstrated excellence in client communication, proactively guiding clients through each project task, and ensuring their successful completion with minimal friction.
- • Responding promptly and effectively to technical support tickets submitted by clients specifically related to their website needs, providing timely and accurate solutions.
- • Actively contributing to the achievement of the overall goals and objectives of the Websites team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience implementing websites using a Content Management System (CMS) platform.
- • Proven experience working with website front-end editors and visual design tools.
- • Demonstrated experience leading technology projects and familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- • Proficiency in core web technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- • A strong aesthetic sense with the ability to create polished, professional, and user-friendly designs.
- • Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and guide them effectively through project milestones.
- • Proven ability to manage a substantial workload, handling multiple projects simultaneously throughout their entire lifecycle, and consistently meeting deadlines.
