📋 Description

• The Web Scraping Engineer II role at YipitData is critical to powering the company’s market research and analytics platform by designing, building, and maintaining resilient web scrapers that extract high-quality alternative data used by global investment funds and corporations.
• Day to day, the engineer will refactor and maintain existing scraping scripts for improved reliability and efficiency, implement advanced techniques like fingerprinting and proxy rotation to evade detection, handle dynamic content and complex DOM structures, collaborate with analysts to align on data requirements, monitor scraper performance, and drive continuous improvement through new tooling and methodologies.
