📋 Description

• As a Werkstudent in the Multimedia team at AMBOSS, you will support the translation and maintenance of medical illustrations for the German and English editorial teams, playing a key role in ensuring visual content is accurate, didactically effective, and culturally adapted.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include learning team structures and cross-team communication, mastering the creation of image descriptions, understanding how multimedia is didactically integrated into AMBOSS articles and questions, processing user feedback on multimedia content, and actively participating in the translation workflow by adapting illustrations to match chapter content.
• You will join a collaborative, flat-hierarchy team of physicians, medical illustrators, fellow Werkstudierende, and graphic designers who value open exchange, independent work, and a supportive atmosphere—whether working remotely or in the Berlin office.
• This role offers the opportunity to deepen your medical knowledge through practical application, refine bilingual medical communication skills, gain hands-on experience in editorial workflows and digital content adaptation, and build a strong foundation for a future career in medical education, health tech, or scientific communication.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in medical studies with the Physikum completed
• Native-level German and very good English proficiency, including command of medical terminology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
• Proficiency with standard office software (Google Docs/Sheets/Slides) and ability to quickly learn new tools
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented work style with good time management and organizational skills
• Prior experience using AMBOSS is a plus
