- • As the Wholesale Business Development Manager, your core mission will be clear yet ambitious: to attract and onboard both buyers and sellers onto our platform, thereby driving significant Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) growth. You will be instrumental in building and nurturing a robust ecosystem of partners, ensuring their active participation and maximizing their engagement. This is a high-ownership role within a lean operational structure, meaning your strategic insights, established relationships, and execution capabilities will have an immediate and tangible impact.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of business development within the wholesale domain. You will be tasked with proactively identifying and acquiring new buyers, ensuring they find value and utility in our platform for their procurement needs. Simultaneously, you will focus on onboarding new sellers, guiding them through the process, and ensuring they are effectively activated to list and sell their products. A critical aspect of this role involves driving increased volume and engagement from our existing partners, fostering deeper relationships and encouraging greater transaction activity.
- • Leveraging your expertise, you will build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships across the entire gaming, digital gift card, and broader digital goods ecosystem. This includes forging connections with distributors, aggregators, key retailers, and other vital market players. Your ability to speak the language of wholesale partners, understand their commercial models, and immediately establish credibility will be paramount to your success. You will act with a profound sense of ownership, constantly scanning the horizon for gaps in our offering, untapped opportunities for growth, and innovative levers to pull that will accelerate our platform's expansion.
- • This role demands a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset. You will be expected to not only identify potential growth avenues but also to develop and execute strategies to capitalize on them. This includes understanding market dynamics, pricing structures, margin considerations, and the various commercial models prevalent in the wholesale digital goods space. Your hands-on experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles within wholesale, marketplaces, or B2B platforms will be crucial for navigating these complexities and driving tangible results.
