📋 Description

• • Lead end-to-end Workday HCM implementations and optimizations for state, county, and municipal clients, translating complex public-sector HR policies into scalable, compliant cloud solutions.
• • Configure Core HCM, Job Profiles, Position Management, Organizations, Compensation, and Security modules to reflect civil-service rules, union agreements, and audit mandates unique to each government entity.
• • Partner with HR, IT, finance, and legal stakeholders to gather requirements, map current-state processes, and design future-state blueprints that balance user experience with regulatory constraints.
• • Own functional workstreams during multi-phase rollouts—planning, configuration, testing, data conversion, cut-over, and hyper-care—ensuring on-time delivery within budget and scope.
• • Build and maintain Workday business-process frameworks, condition rules, calculated fields, and eligibility criteria that automate position-control, seniority, and collective-bargaining workflows.
• • Design security roles and domain policies that enforce segregation of duties, FOIA compliance, and least-privilege access across large, unionized workforces.
• • Lead unit, integration, and user-acceptance testing cycles; author test scripts, manage defect logs, and coordinate remediation with technical and functional teams.
• • Support data-conversion and validation efforts—mapping legacy HRIS data, cleansing records, reconciling counts, and executing EIB loads to achieve 100 % payroll accuracy at go-live.
• • Provide post-production support: triage tickets, diagnose root causes, deliver break-fix configurations, and recommend enhancements that reduce manual effort and audit risk.
• • Monitor Workday’s semi-annual releases, assess feature impacts, and deliver release-readiness briefings that help clients adopt innovations without disrupting compliance.
• • Mentor junior consultants and client super-users through knowledge-transfer workshops, office hours, and sandbox walkthroughs that build long-term self-sufficiency.
• • Contribute to internal practice development by documenting reusable configuration templates, public-sector-specific test scenarios, and lessons-learned artifacts.
• • Travel up to 40 % for discovery workshops, training sessions, and go-live support at client sites across the United States; balance travel with remote collaboration tools to maintain work-life integration.
