  • • As a Workday Technical Consultant with a specialized focus on Time & Attendance at Davis Technology Management, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining the core functionalities of our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. Your expertise will directly impact the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of how our organization captures, processes, and reports on employee time and attendance data. This role is critical for ensuring seamless integration between time tracking, payroll processing, and overall HR operations, contributing to a robust and high-performing workforce management ecosystem.
  • • You will be the go-to technical expert for all Workday Time & Attendance modules, responsible for their ongoing support, configuration, and optimization. This involves a deep dive into the intricacies of time tracking policies, absence management, shift scheduling, and related payroll implications. Your work will ensure that our employees are accurately compensated for their time, and that management has clear visibility into labor costs and productivity.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve partnering closely with key stakeholders across HR, Payroll, and IT departments. You will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical solutions, translating complex needs into actionable configurations and enhancements within Workday. This collaborative approach ensures that our Workday system not only meets current business demands but is also agile enough to adapt to future organizational changes and strategic objectives.
  • • You will actively participate in the full lifecycle of system updates and enhancements. This includes planning, testing, and deploying new features or modifications to the Workday Time & Attendance modules. Your contributions will be vital in keeping our system current with Workday's release cycles and in implementing best practices to maximize system performance and user experience.
  • • Ensuring data integrity and compliance is paramount. You will be responsible for monitoring data accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and implementing solutions to maintain the highest standards of data reliability. This includes troubleshooting any issues related to time entry, approvals, or data flow to payroll, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • • Your responsibilities will extend to supporting and potentially developing Workday reports and analytics related to time and attendance. This will provide valuable insights to leadership on workforce utilization, overtime trends, and labor cost management, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • • You will also play a key role in supporting and maintaining integrations that connect Workday Time & Attendance with other internal and external systems. This ensures a smooth and uninterrupted flow of data, critical for accurate payroll processing and comprehensive HR reporting.
  • • The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical foundation in Workday, coupled with practical, hands-on experience in supporting time-related workflows in a live production environment. You should be comfortable working independently, diagnosing complex issues, and proposing effective solutions. Your ability to troubleshoot problems proactively and reactively will be essential in maintaining system stability and user satisfaction.
  • • This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on how Davis Technology Management operates. By ensuring the Workday Time & Attendance system functions flawlessly, you contribute directly to operational efficiency, employee satisfaction, and the company's ability to manage its most valuable asset – its people. You will be part of a forward-thinking company that values innovation and strives to create 'RAVING FANS' through exceptional service and technological prowess.
  • • Key responsibilities include:
  • • Providing expert-level support and maintenance for Workday Time & Attendance functionalities, including time entry, approvals, absence management, and related configurations.
  • • Collaborating with HR, Payroll, and business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
  • • Proactively identifying and resolving system issues, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining system integrity.
  • • Participating in Workday system updates, testing new releases, and implementing enhancements to optimize performance.
  • • Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards to provide insights into time and attendance data.
  • • Supporting and troubleshooting integrations related to time and attendance data.
  • • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies through accurate system configuration and data management.
  • • Contributing to the continuous improvement of Workday processes and functionalities.
  • • Acting as a subject matter expert for Workday Time & Attendance within the organization.
  • • Documenting configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Workday in a technical or functional capacity.
  • • 1-2+ years of direct experience supporting time and attendance processes within Workday.
  • • Proven experience working in a live Workday production environment.
  • • Strong understanding of how Workday supports HR and Payroll operations, with a focus on Time & Attendance.
  • • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently and effectively.
  • • Experience with Workday Payroll or Workday HCM configuration and support.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • • Opportunity to work with a growing and innovative technology company.
