- • Support the creation and execution of a broker distribution strategy to meet new sales, retention, profitability, and expense objectives for Pacific Life’s Workforce Benefits business.
- • Achieve annual sales goals established by the Regional Vice President of Broker Distribution through targeted outreach and relationship management.
- • Partner with Workforce Benefits Distribution teams to effectively communicate Pacific Life’s Group Benefits value proposition to brokers and general agents.
- • Build, strengthen, and expand relationships with brokers in the Indiana territory to drive sales and increase Pacific Life’s market presence.
- • Conduct a consistent number of broker meetings per week to nurture pipelines and advance sales opportunities.
- • Generate and manage an appropriate volume of RFPs per month to support revenue growth and client acquisition.
- • Demonstrate deep proficiency in Pacific Life’s group benefits products and their application in the broker marketplace.
- • Collaborate with underwriting, product, pricing, regulatory compliance, and actuarial teams to ensure alignment on broker-facing deliverables and client solutions.
- • Leverage established and innovative tools, technologies, and partnerships to enable efficient and scalable growth in the broker channel.
- • Adopt a customer-first mindset by prioritizing broker and client perspectives in all strategic and operational decisions.
- • Participate in industry events, legislative platforms, and community activities to stay current on market trends and represent Pacific Life professionally.
- • Perform additional job-related duties and special projects as assigned to support organizational objectives.
- • Maintain a high standard of integrity, transparency, and consistency in all interactions, always acting in the best interest of the organization and its stakeholders.
- • Continuously seek feedback, reflect on personal performance, and drive improvement through a mindset of lifelong learning and accountability.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years’ experience in group benefits sales with an established presence in the broker marketplace
- • College degree with concentration in business management, finance, or risk management, or equivalent work experience
- • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources to support decisions and align stakeholders with organizational strategy
- • Entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing innovative ideas that push industry boundaries
- • High degree of integrity with ability to act transparently and consistently
- • Self-reflective with a commitment to continuous improvement and leading by example
