- • The Youth Advocacy & Success Manager will lead Opal for Schools’ mission to build a student-driven movement around digital wellness, empowering teens to self-regulate their attention without shame or force, leveraging the fact that 250k+ teens already use Opal daily.
- • Day to day, the role involves owning engagement metrics at partner schools by tracking activation, usage, and retention; identifying drop-off points; and designing creative interventions to boost participation, while recruiting and leading a network of student ambassadors through virtual meetups, challenges, and campaigns that resonate with youth.
- • The role sits within a mission-driven, remote-first team backed by investors from Duolingo, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Revolut, operating at the intersection of education technology and youth advocacy, where creativity, data-informed iteration, and AI-augmented workflows are core to scaling impact.
- • In this role, the person will learn to build and scale youth movements, master engagement analytics in real-world educational settings, leverage AI tools to automate routine tasks ("Vibe Code"), and amplify authentic student voices for PR and content—gaining hybrid expertise in community building, data literacy, and digital wellness advocacy.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience building or leading a student-led initiative, club, movement, campaign, or community, OR proven experience in Customer Success at a startup.
- • Demonstrated ability to energize peers and turn ideas into sustained momentum, particularly in youth or educational contexts.
- • Self-directed and proactive in remote environments—able to create momentum without waiting for instructions.
- • Comfortable tracking and interpreting engagement metrics (activation, usage, retention) and using data to iterate and improve programs.
- • Genuine excitement about digital wellness, education, or youth advocacy, with a belief in teens’ capacity to self-regulate.
- • AI-fluent: routinely uses AI tools to amplify productivity and impact, not replace critical thinking.
